Behind the business card swapping and the lack of air circulation in the San Francisco Design Center, f8 revealed less than monumental yet significant news about the social network Facebook and those who interact with it. Application developers were introduced to what should prove to be a new era of social networking, with a profile redesign, new policies, an increase in the “social graph” via 3rd party website integration and further funding. Just where will this take us all and our vast network of friends?
Keep in mind this ever changing world of social networks will never get everything right at once, we still have some time to think about the future and how the relationships between publishers, developers and users will evolve.
